Though, according to numerous threads, most trainees really are absorbed. Though not instantaneously.

I have trained there last year, only finishing the first phase, but at least one thirds of my batch who continued are already staff nurses. Though not everybody who passed were given recommendation letters. If given the glory, their contract lasts for 3 years.

If in case you fail, you can re-take the examination after 2months. The exam really isn't that hard, it's more of basic and procedural stuff that most nurses has forgotten.

This is a very-soon-to-rise private hospital in Taguig City. In between the City Hall and Acacia Estates. Personally speaking, I think it has great potential for a lot of residencial condominiums are rising near it. According to their HR Head, Mr. Chad, the hospitel (yes, that's the term people) will have 100+ bed capacity upon soft opening and will have 250+ when it's fully finished. The hospitel is used because the 50+ founders want a "hotel" environment rather than that of a hotel.
Requirement:
- Resume
That's all. Easy eh? Just proceed to the site (still in construction) and pass your resume. They're very keen on having your correct number. A lot has passed resumes with the wrong mobile numbers. And ta-dah, cannot be reached.
Then, you will be given a schedule for a nursing aptitude test. 80% passing rate. 80 items = not below 60 points. If you passed or did not, they will contact you.

If successful, they'll interview you if you fit for the position.
Frankly, they want residents near the area. But since they need more, they also accept those from other places.
Goodluck!
Hello! SSS number po ba yung kelangan sa SLMC-QC or yung ID na? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteLheajane - I gave them the paper I got sa SSS lang. At that time kasi wala pa kong ID. :) Recognized naman.

ReplyDeleteThank you! :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for this! hehe :) Yung sa CGH po ba mageexam agad pag nagpass ng requirements? :)
ReplyDeleteNope! :) Kinuha lang nila yung requirements. I got a call back last quarter. It was from the HR. I thought for staff nurse. Kaso when I went in for the interview, I learned that the position was medical secretary ng doctor. :(
DeleteI went to Makati Med last week. The guard didn't allow me to go to the nursing service department, instead he informed me that i should drop my documents at the drop box beside the stairs right at the entrance if i am applying as a staff nurse. There was a note posted: FOR THIS WHO ARE APPLYING FOR THE POSITION OF STAFF NURSE, HERE ARE THE FF REQUIREMENTS - RESUME, TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS, BOARD RATING.
ReplyDeleteShould i have just proceeded to the nursing service dept?
I think okay lang yun. My friends inquired din kasi through the phone, MMC told them to submit the requirements na lang via e-mail. :(
DeleteHi there! Did they give a specific email address? Thanks in advance for your response :)
Deletethank you so much ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! Glad to help. :)
DeleteHello! Is there a board rating requirement in MMC? Like if you got 75% or below 80%? Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteI've encountered this question a lot. And I tried asking my superiors about it. They told me na in a lot of instances, kahit below 80% ang rating sa board. Magpasa pa din. What matters most is the character. "Skills can be easily learned. Pero ang attitude mahirap baguhin", our trainor from Cardinal told us.
DeleteAaaand sa mga requirements ng MMC, they didn't specify naman the rating. Hihi. Dami ko lang sinabi.
Hi there! Your blog is really helpful.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing!
I just wanna ask if its really needed to have ACLC cert when applying to cardinal santos?
Thank you!
Thanks Maggi! Greatly appreciate the feedback! :)
DeleteCardinal will require you to have complete and updated licenses kapag may job order ka na. Pero pre- and during training hindi pa naman. :)
Good luck guys for application ang hirap tlga ng pingdadaanan ntin .. Keep fighting lng... Mgresign n din ako s bpo.. Looking for Hosp exp nmn..
ReplyDeleteGoodluck sa atin Joemel! :) God bless!
DeleteHi! tnx po sa info! ask ko lang po f may second batch pa ng trainees, when po ang last submission?and priority po ba nila yung from manila? I graduated in Davao kasi, isa din yan sa worries ko! thank you po!
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle! :) Saang hospital?
DeleteHello.. Pwede pa po bang magsubmit ng requirements??? Thanks
ReplyDeleteRequirements for what hospital po?
DeleteHi good day saan pa po ba open na magpasa ng resume po sa hospital. TIA po.
ReplyDeleteHi Cindel! Well, technically speaking, most of them are open. Though, the assurance of getting absorbed is blurry, :(
DeleteYour blog is a big help to a struggling nurse like me. I am planning to pass my requirements to hospitals this week. Which one do u think should I go first? I mean the one u think that has higher chance of getting hired. I'm willing do the trainings and stuff. Well we don't really have a choice. Haha.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jowena. I personally recommend going to private hospitals as they are less likely to be biased on 'who-you-know'. A lot of them also hire based on rankings from their trainings (specifically SLMC, CSMC & TMC) :)
Deletei got an email from csmc to take their exam tom at 9am, it was for the post-grad training i think.. if i were able to pass the exams and interviews, do i still need to pay the training fee? and how much would that be? because i asked somebody from the nursing service dept about how much would be the fee for the training and they wont disclose it to me, they said they will just email it to me after wards.. im just wondering about it.. tia! ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's still at 10k :)
Deletehello! may mas updated ba dito as of May 2014?? please reply.. thank you and God bless!
ReplyDeleteAs of today, all hospitals in this post still have the same requirements and what-not :)
Deletemeron po ba training fee sa manila doctors hospital at sa Medical City manila?
ReplyDeleteHi, Kerstin.I plan to apply for training at CSMC. How was your training at Cardinal Santos? How soon will they call you for employment after training?
ReplyDeleteHi Lime! I waited from February 15 until first week of June (3 to 4 months) :)
DeleteDoes the requirements need to be all original documents or photocopy? Thanks
ReplyDeleteDepends on the institution you're applying for po.
Deletefor Medical Center Taguig, is that true..i want to grab the chance..thanks
ReplyDeleteI suggest you do, until now hindi pa nag-oopen yung hospital so they're still undergoing the hiring process.
DeleteThank you Ms.Kerstin for the info. This will be really helpful. Sa nakikita ko po parang mas maganda magapply sa CSMC but may I just ask strikto po ba talaga sila sa requirements? Like yung BLS, ACLS, and IVT trainings?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteYou're welcome Sir! You can train without the licenses, but as soon as you get hired kailangan na talaga since it will be a part of your evaluation as a probationary nurse.
Deletehi! may I just ask po Ms. Kerstin San po dapat magpass ng requirements sa cardinal santos med? TIA! :)
ReplyDeletePass it at the Nursing Services Office at CSMC :)
Deletehi if magpass aq sa CSMC ok lang po ba kht walang GWA
ReplyDeleteI suggest including the GWA. It's one of the requirements they really look for.
Deletewhat if po indi nagproprovide ung skul.
ReplyDeleteIt would be better to inform the CSMC Nursing Office about that. Para alam nila kung bakit walang GWA :)
DeleteHi! Regarding MMC's requirements, ippresent lang yung original documents and hindi nila kukuhanin? As in for reference lang na may original copies ng documents na nirrequire nila? Thanks in advance! :)
ReplyDeleteYes! :) They'll check for authenticity lang tapos ibabalik din nila sayo lahat ng original, and take the photocopies :)
DeleteHi ma'am! Do you have any idea what type of exam for SLMC-GC for PGNT and Medical Center Taguig?
ReplyDeleteDuring my time, SLMC-GC provided several types of exam. Sa HR yun e. Personality and IQ tests lang, not nursing exams. For MCT, they had us take a nursing type of exam :)
DeleteHi po. Ask q lang po kung malaki b tlga chance na makakapasok sa CArdinal kpg naipasa ung training..
ReplyDeleteYes. Our batch around 25 out of 30 trainees yung nakapasok. Yung iba, hindi lang tinuloy yung application nila :) Your 10k won't go to waste naman.
DeleteMa'am Kerstin Kaye Vicente J. open pa ba kaya dyan sa san lukas sa e. rod? teyks! X)
ReplyDeleteHahaha loko ka men! :p
DeleteHello po mam, yung sa st. Luke's po ba magtetext sila if hndi ka pasado for interview?
ReplyDeleteGood day.
ReplyDeleteI just want for ask if which of the above mentioned hospitals are still accepting for applicants?
thank you.
looking forward.
Mam can u give some pointers to review.csmc
ReplyDeleteConcepts to be reviewed..nakakakaba..thnx po mam kerstin
ReplyDeleteHi mam kerstin! Good day. Regarding pgnt program ng st.lukes may allowance na po ba yun?
ReplyDelete
